Terms of Service

The rules and guidelines for using TwoPulse to monitor your services and receive alerts.

Last updated June 2026

Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using TwoPulse at twopulse.io, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the service. If you are using TwoPulse on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

Description of service

TwoPulse is a service monitoring platform that provides:

  • Scheduled HTTP heartbeat checks against URLs you configure
  • Latency and status code tracking with historical dashboards
  • Email alerts when services fail or recover, sent to your account email and additional recipients you specify
  • Webhook notifications to endpoints you configure (for example, Slack or Discord integrations)
  • Alert history and incident logs within your account

We may add, modify, or discontinue features at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes that affect your use of the platform.

Account registration and security

Account creation

To use TwoPulse, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You agree to provide accurate, current information and to keep it updated.

Account security

You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@twopulse.io if you suspect unauthorized access.

Notification recipients

When you add email addresses to receive alerts, you confirm that you have permission to send monitoring notifications to those recipients. You are responsible for managing and removing recipients who should no longer receive alerts.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use TwoPulse to:

  • Monitor services, endpoints, or infrastructure you do not own or lack explicit authorization to monitor
  • Conduct denial-of-service attacks, excessive load testing, or any activity that disrupts target systems
  • Violate applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of systems without authorization
  • Transmit malware, spam, or harmful code through the platform or alert channels
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to TwoPulse, other accounts, or our infrastructure
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the service without our written consent
  • Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or security measures

We reserve the right to investigate violations and suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.

Monitoring and alerts

TwoPulse performs periodic HTTP checks against URLs you provide. Check frequency, thresholds, and alert behavior depend on your configuration and our platform settings.

Alert delivery is best-effort. While we work to deliver email and webhook notifications promptly, we do not guarantee that every alert will be delivered, received, or acted upon. Network issues, third-party email providers, webhook endpoint failures, and maintenance windows may affect delivery.

TwoPulse is a monitoring tool, not a substitute for your own incident response procedures. You should not rely solely on TwoPulse for critical safety, medical, financial, or life-safety systems.

You are solely responsible for webhook URLs you configure. Alert payloads may contain service names, status information, and links to your TwoPulse dashboard. Ensure webhook endpoints are appropriate for the sensitivity of this data.

Service availability

We strive to keep TwoPulse available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The service may be unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, upgrades, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

We are not liable for damages resulting from downtime of TwoPulse itself, missed alerts during outages, or inaccurate monitoring results caused by network conditions, misconfiguration, or third-party service failures.

Intellectual property

TwoPulse, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the platform for your internal or commercial monitoring purposes, subject to these terms.

You retain ownership of the service URLs, configuration data, and monitoring data associated with your account. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the TwoPulse platform except as permitted by law.

Payment and billing

TwoPulse may offer free and paid subscription plans. If you subscribe to a paid plan, you agree to pay all applicable fees as described at the time of purchase. Fees are typically billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis.

You are responsible for providing accurate billing information and keeping payment methods current. Refund policies, plan limits, and pricing are described on our website and may change with notice. Failure to pay may result in suspension or downgrade of your account.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TwoPulse and its operators, suppliers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, business interruption, or missed alerts — arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of TwoPulse shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars ($100) if you have not paid any fees.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability. In those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TwoPulse and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your monitored endpoints, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights — including monitoring systems without authorization or misconfigured webhook integrations.

Termination

You may stop using TwoPulse at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these terms, engage in abusive behavior, or if required by law.

Upon termination, your right to access the service ends. We may delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, subject to legal retention requirements.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of TwoPulse after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
